Well the title pretty much sums it up. Due to the burglar bastards of the previous night....I spent half the night catching up on previous reports..and as usual you keep getting interupted by silly calls.
Down the hatch: Call of a female stuck under a fence...assist the fire department. Get to the scene and there is no girl stuck in a fence. The girl was on the ground and her face looked like she got hit by a truck. Blood everywhere. Anyway here's the story...so she decided to take a shortcut home.....which turns out she was going the wrong way anyway so the shortcut didn't help at all. 20 foot vertical rock embankment down to the fenced parking lot with jaged rock (like boulder size) edges....why not. In her stupor decides to try and climb down and falls......her head hit just about every rock on the way down....her momentum continued causing her to slide under the fence and get stuck. Didn't have to take a report.....yay.
Assist another agency: Neighboring city that only has one officer on at a time got a fight call, dispute over a taxi fare from way south. Get there and the customer is sitting outside the cab. His face didn't look much better than rock climbing girls. He went out for his birthday and well had some kind of dissagreement with his buddy. Buddy bashed his face in....happy birthday. Takes cab 25 miles home to a new address that isnt in the cabbie's gps yet. Customer thinks the driver is taking him "the long way" for extra fare and he decides to try and choke the driver....no report woo hoo.
DUI...helped process another guys dui for him. He was stoned riding a motorcycle....just after he had smoked 2 or 3 oxycontin pills out of a bic pen converted into a pipe. Guy said he understood we just had to do our jobs but didn't undertand that you could get a dui for being stoned and not drunk....despite that he still told us about his dreams and aspirations of becoming a cop and how he plans on attending the police academy.
Fire alarm.....big complex lots of people calling in everyone evacuating...usually signs of a good fire......false alarm.
That was about it...pretty boring night actually. Plodding on
